However, shortly thereafter, Merah presented Steve with a videotape acquired from a narcotics merchant. On said tape, Sarah Brennan, Steve’s girlfriend, conveyed a message urging him to completely erase her from his memory. Unable to remain silent, Steve took immediate action to locate her.
